Человек не может знать обо всём на свете и хранить в памяти множество различных сведений. Что такое словарь, справочник и энциклопедия, сегодня известно каждому. Справочная литература всегда помогала людям расширять свои знания, повышать языковую культуру. Но, для того чтобы получить помощь от этой литературы, недостаточно знать о том, какие словари, справочники и энциклопедии существуют. Нужно уметь ими пользоваться. Выработке такого умения и был посвящён урок-игра для ребят 5-6 классов «К тайнам мысли и слова: поиск информации в справочных изданиях»в Комской библиотеке. Библиотекарь познакомила школьников с основными видами словарей, справочников и энциклопедий. Вниманию ребят были представлены словари по русскому языку известных авторов: С.И. Ожегова «Словарь русского языка», В.И. Даля «Толковый словарь живого русского языка», «Словарь современного русского литературного языка», «Современный словарь иностранных слов», «Орфографический словарь русского языка» и др. Дети не только слушали, но и сами работали с книгами. Они подбирали синонимы к различным словам, расставляли ударение, находили толкование слов, с помощью словаря иностранных слов определяли, какие слова заимствованы из других языков. В одном из заданий ребята должны были расшифровать крылатые выражения (дать объяснение). Библиотечный урок прошел интересно и познавательно. Ребята с помощью практических заданий получили навыки пользования справочной литературой, тем самым повысили информационно-библиографическую культуру.
