14 октября по народному календарю отмечается праздник Покрова. В России он традиционно означает наступление холодов, проводы Осени и приближение Зимы. Это народный праздник с запахом осенней листвы, сладких подмороженных ягод и деревенскими посиделками с песнями и рукоделием, смотринами да свадьбами. А у нас такой праздник подготовили работники Дома культуры и библиотеки для клуба пожилых людей «Завалинка».
Уж ты, батюшка Покров,
Защити наш дом и кров
От беды-ненастья, непогоды-горести,
Отсыпь нам счастья-радости полные горсти!
Уж мы тебя рады каждый год встречать,
Уж мы тебя станем славить-величать!
Этими словами Хозяюшки начали фольклорный праздник «Покров-Батюшка». Гостей встречали хлебом-солью. Усадили за праздничный стол и поведали историю возникновения праздника Покрова Пресвятой Богородицы, почему этот праздник стал особо почитаемым. Ну, а за чаем никому скучать не пришлось, ведь Хозяюшки приготовили для гостей различные испытания. Дружно все вспоминали народные приметы и пословицы о Покрове, исполняли частушки, отгадывали «грибные» загадки. А еще участвовали в конкурсах «Мотальщицы», «Стряпухи», «Рыбалка» и другие. Все эти незамысловатые забавы создали эмоционально комфортную атмосферу общения на нашем празднике.
